Denso™ protective outerwraps provide added protection against mechanical, impact, or UV exposure, encasing the primary corrosion prevention layer. They are suitable for buried, exposed, or submerged pipes, piles, tie rods, cables, and service pipework.

Bitumen & Butyl Tapes

A complete line of high-performance, cold-applied bitumen & butyl tapes ranging from 0.25mm to 2mm in thickness. The tapes offer superior adhesion between the tape and the pipe surface, with multiple grades of protection available including high temperature varieties for use in tropical climates.
Denso™ bitumen tapes can be applied as both a system­comprising a primer, tape, and a choice of mastic-for contouring irregular shapes such as flanges and valves, or as a protective outerwrap.

VISCOT AQ™ Visco­ Elastic Products

Viscotaq™ is the ultimate visco-elastic amorphous a-polar polyolefin for the protection against corrosion of underground and aboveground substrates in the pipeline, petrochemical, water industry and more.
Viscotaq always has permanent and intimate contact with the surface of a substrate ( concrete, steel, PVC, metal, wood, vinyl and other coatings). The viscous modulus and the elasticity modulus of the material are designed in such a way that the viscosity modulus gives permanent wetting characteristics hence forcing the material to flow into the pores and anomalies of the substrates, whereas the elasticity modules give the strength and elasticity of a solid.
The patented Viscotaq systems are self-healing, non-toxic, easy to apply, are 100% impermeable to water and oxygen, and require no primer.

Protective Outerwraps

Where additional protection of a Denso corrosion prevention system is required-for mechanical, impact or U.V. exposure purposes-a Denso™ protective outerwrap can be applied to encase the primary layer of protection and serve as a barrier between the inner layer and the external environment.
Protective outerwraps can be applied to buried, exposed or submerged pipework and piles; tie rods; cables; and service pipework.
